Welcome! I am a scientist by day and an artist by night; I fuel my passion for both through each other. Currently, I'm completing a master's of science degree, investigating the effects of urbanization on wildlife. I am also the author of the poetry book "From Under the Lily Pad," which covers overcoming adversity and motivation.

My main passion is writing, and I blend my science and art into wildlife education articles published regularly by the Alberta Institute For Wildlife Conservation and The Fur-Bearers. I have successfully nurtured my childhood love for animals into an impressive scientific and artistic career.
